Since family traveled down to our home for Harper's 2nd birthday party, we had a little time the morning after to run down to the beach and snap a few pictures of my Aunt and her family before they headed back to Winston Salem! We had a blast watching the kids play and enjoy the sand & salt water!

Where do I start? When Sara contacted me to shoot her & Allen's Marine Corps homecoming I was ECSTATIC! I had been waiting for one to happen since I moved back to Jacksonville in November and experienced my own first hand! This couple was absolutely amazing to work with and Sara and I had a good time standing around waiting (which is the most time consuming part of a military homecoming lol). I couldn't have enjoyed working with these two any more than I did. By far, the most special part of being a Marine wife AND photographer, is getting the chance to capture these kinds of memories forever in a photo! Congrats LCpl Lewis & Sara!!!!

Its not hard to see why I was so excited to shoot for this beautiful couple! They are one good looking pair, but more than that, their love radiates when they are together! I have never been around two people who's love is so absolutely visible! 
Erik and Hannah met while Erik was a worship leader at a church in Fayetteville where Hannah was visiting. There's no question why she caught his eye, but little did he know, he had caught hers too. From that moment their love bloomed into the beautiful marriage it is today! 
I could not have had a better time shooting them, despite the heat of the summer, in this beautiful park and look forward to shooting with them again!

Beauty, talent, style... This chick has it all! Latissa is a dear friend of mine and when she contacted me about shooting for her dance and modeling portfolio, I couldn't have been more excited! This is one of the most talented and hardest working ladies I know and getting a chance to capture her in action was amazing!

I LOVE when I get a chance to shoot kids! The first time I met Trinh I knew we would get along! We have very similar senses of humor and are both outgoing and loud. So when she asked me if I would do her son Ethan's 2 year old photo shoot I JUMPED at the chance! We had so much fun on such a pretty day!

This little guy is such a stud muffin! He had so much fun running around and when his mama asked him to pose and smile he did just that!



This beautiful couple was an absolute please to work with. Very classic with a hint of edge, light and romantic and fun- that is Ian and Nira! We had a blast shooting at the airport in Raleigh, NC. Definitely my first time shooting there, and I was surprised at the amount of fun places to take beautiful photos!
